Whilst temperatures may vary from year to year, Verona tends to enjoy a pleasant climate all year round. The spring and autumn are generally the best seasons to visit Verona.

Not only is the weather predictably warm and sunny, but the city is less crowded than during the peak summer holidays.

During the summer climate, Verona basks in high temperatures, although the hot, sunny weather can be punctuated by the odd thunderstorm.

Spring in Verona can be very pleasant. Expect to enjoy some balmy weather with the odd shower or two. During June, temperatures during the day can reach as high as 24ºC /75ºF. However, visitors should take care when they head out of their hotels at night, as temperatures can fall considerably. It's best to bring a sweater.

The summer Verona climate can be stiflingly hot at times. As a result, visitors who intend to do any amount of sightseeing in the centre may find the weather rather uncomfortable. Daytime temperatures are usually around 28ºC / 82ºF, and can often exceed 30ºC / 86ºF. Verona can also feel fairly humid during the summer.

September and October are still fairly sunny months, although visitors can expect more in the way of rain showers, as November approaches. Autumn visitors are advised to bring plenty of warm clothing.

From late-November through to January and February, the weather and climate in Verona is very much characterised by chilly, crisp days, with clear blue skies. Daytime temperatures are usually between 0ºC /32ºF and 7ºC / 44ºF on average.
